When a customer books a kayak/SUP on kayakomat.com they are given the choice to subscribe to our newsletter. We send out regular newsletters with inspiration and offers to attract new bookings. Newsletters are a very effective channel that converts well.

We are also working to get people who have never rented from KAYAKOMAT to give us their email address so that we can contact them. This can for example be through a competition we spread in social media, where you need to give your email address to participate.

The newsletter will also be useful at the end of the season, when we can send an email with an offer to buy a second-hand kayak/SUP.

We send you local newsletters

 It is possible to send targeted mailings to people who have rented from a specific location. This is a channel that you have the opportunity to use.

If you have any news or information you want us to spread, you can send it to us. Please write a text with clear headings, and for example if there is any link you want to include (for example to the local website or any event on Facebook).

If you want to do a campaign where you want to contact customers directly, for example via email, then contact us and we will do it for you. This is due to the very strict rules, GDPR, that exist around sending advertising to customers. Just because a customer has booked a rental with you does not mean that we, or you, have the right to send them advertising. You are also not allowed to create records with customers’ data. You can face very heavy fines if you do. Our system will filter out customers who have not actively given us permission to send them advertising.
