You can work actively to get this attention. We at KAYAKOMAT do a lot of work to create brand awareness through, for example, sending out press releases and direct contact with local media. Some of the marketing budget goes to this work and we have seen very good results in previous years. As a result, there is a high chance that you will be contacted by a journalist during the event and it is important that you are well prepared. As a local operator, you can also be active in PR. Regularly contact the local media in your area and tell them about when you are opening, when you have events, if you have any fun collaborations and so on. It’s good to find your own angle; for example, they might want to write about summer tips in the region, about new local entrepreneurs or about a fun event where you got various local celebrities to compete in a kayak race.

Please mention the sustainability aspect. We care about the cycle as our kayaks are sold to private individuals after 100 rentals, instead of them buying new. This way, the equipment gets a second, long life instead of ending up in the recycling centre.
Thanks to the booking function, unlike manned rentals, we can 100% ensure that you have seen the safety instructions.
