General information on claims cover

Damage cover varies depending on the country and the rental agreement. However, regardless of your specific cover, the procedure is the same in the event of a claim. You can find your damage cover contract as an annex to the rental agreement.

The damage cover includes the station structure, locks, kayaks, SUPs and paddles, as well as banners and signs.

  • Report the theft to the police.

  • Within three days of discovery, you must submit a formal claim to us. See form, submitted via the contact form.

Missing equipment is often found and returned

In the vast majority of cases, kayaks or SUPs are found. They are large and difficult to transport and therefore not particularly prone to theft. It is usually a case of vandalism, and therefore the kayak or SUP is found near your station after a few days. Your locks are programmed in such a way that they become completely unusable if we switch them off.

Contact the police after about two days and check if the equipment has been found. Note that you cannot expect the police to contact you or us if equipment is found.

Prevent theft and vandalism

In the event that theft or damage is likely to occur again, we have a number of solutions to try to stop the problem. Together we will assess the situation and take action.
