Payment and accounting documents
We try to clarify and simplify the accounting process as much as possible so that you do not have to spend resources on accounting and administration.
Your accounting records will show what sales you have made.
At the end of each month you will receive a payment and accounting document for the previous month (e.g. April will be accounted for and paid on 30 May). All transactions are recorded on the accounting document. The same document contains a statement of all fees.
Types of fees:
On the accounting document you will find:
Transaction fee: Fee for bank cards.
Service fee: payable on turnover in excess of the amount specified in the Connection Agreement.
Marketing fee: 4% of your turnover goes to the marketing fund.
Software fee: Fee for booking system and admin app. Only applies during April-September regardless of whether your station is open otherwise.
Hardware fee: Refers to the hire of all equipment.
Why do I have a debt on my accounts?
Unless all fees can be deducted from your rental income, you will receive an invoice for them.
What about other payments from KAYAKOMAT (e.g. second-hand sales, flexi-cards and gift cards)?
On the following page you will find information on how to handle second-hand sales. Kayakomat is sold as a unit. On all underlays you will find inlets, outlets and mats that can be attached to the sale.
When do I pay my licence fee?
If you have a turnover based rental, the rental costs will be deducted from your income on a monthly basis;
For some contracts, the rental fee is paid in advance of the season.
EU VAT: Important for operators in countries other than Sweden
In order for Kayakomat Sweden to be able to invoice you without VAT, you must register an EU VAT.
Does KAYAKOMAT pay VAT for me?
No, you are not. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for registering, accounting for and paying the VAT and other taxes that apply to you to the Swedish Tax Agency.
