Before Delivery: Preparing for Your KAYAKOMAT
Naturally you are the one to decide when to receive your kayakomat-station. Shipments may take up to 10 business days from the date KAYAKOMAT books the shipment. You will receive a notification once the shipment has been scheduled.
The station is shipped from our central warehouse in Sweden. Our logistics partner for several years is NTEX. Please read the text below carefully so that you are well-prepared.
Confirm Your Delivery Details
You will be contacted by NTEX, our logistics partner, within 7 days of shipment booking to schedule the delivery date.
NTEX may refer to the shipment as coming from Point 65, KAYAKOMAT’s parent company.
Delivery occurs Monday–Friday, usually in the morning, but exact times cannot be guaranteed.
If you are unable to receive the delivery on the agreed date, you must contact NTEX directly to reschedule:

Preparing the Site
Verify the exact assigned location to ensure the KAYAKOMAT can stand flat and stable.
The site should be clear of obstructions and traffic.
If necessary, prepare with cement blocks, but no casting or fixed installations should be required.
Plan how the delivery truck (up to 30 meters long) can access the site.
If roads are too narrow or have tight turns, a smaller truck may be required, incurring a €350 fee. Notify us in advance.
Alternatively, you can unload at another location and transport the station with a trailer.
Packing details
The station is pallet-packed.
The total package weight ranges between 700–900 kg.
Hiring a forklift for easier unloading could be useful but it might not be realistic. A team of 2–4 people can manually unload the station.
Most racks-models are packed in a wooden crate. If unloading is done manually (not by forklift) the crate needs to be opened and unloaded piece by piece.
Tools you need at delivery
- Work gloves
- Basic toolbox, hammer etc
- Crowbar
- Knife
- Preferably a wheelbarrow or similar to roll heavy things on (depending on how the site looks)
- Shovel, rake & secateurs to level and clear around the site
During the delivery: unloading and set up
Receiving the Shipment
On the day of delivery, NTEX will call you 1–2 hours in advance.
You must be present at the agreed time; NTEX will not unload the shipment for you.
The driver will wait 30 minutes for unloading (included in the delivery fee). The driver will not assist with unloading. Extra waiting time may incur additional charges.
Offer the driver a cup of coffee and a bun—it might make the process smoother! 😉
Unloading & Handling
Check the packing list immediately to ensure all items are present.
Inspect for any visible damages and document them with photos.
If unloading manually, open the crate and remove pieces individually.
- Start assembling your station.
Important: Damage Reporting
To ensure we can replace any damaged equipment, you must inspect and report any damages within 24 hours of delivery. If damage is reported later, we risk both the shipping company and ourselves having to decline compensation due to the time limit.

Potential Delivery Issues & Solution
You are not required to accept an early delivery. Early delivery = the wrong date.
If NTEX attempts to deliver early, contact KAYAKOMAT support immediately.
NTEX will contact you to reschedule if necessary.
Plan for potential delays in case of unexpected logistics issues.
For minor kayak indentations, try leaving them in direct sunlight for a few hours to allow the material to reform. Scratches and small dents can also easily be fixed.
Accept the delivery (do not refuse it).
Take clear photos and send them to KAYAKOMAT support within 24 hours upon delivery.
We will arrange for replacement or repair guidance only if all requirements are met, eg photos sent within 24 hours and damaged not fixable by yourself.
- In cases of minor damage, we may ask you to attempt a repair before issuing a replacement.
If any items are missing:
- Contact KAYAKOMAT support immediately with details. Specify clearly what pieces are missing.
- We will arrange a replacement shipment.
If NTEX is unresponsive, contact KAYAKOMAT support for assistance.
